FLUOstar Omega Multi-Mode Microplate Reader

The FLUOstar® Omega from BMG LABTECH is a versatile, filter-based multi-mode microplate reader developed for life science research. It combines highly sensitive filter-based detection with an ultra-fast UV/visible spectrometer to deliver reliable results across various assay types.

The instrument supports fluorescence intensity—including FRET and time-resolved fluorescence—luminescence, including BRET, and UV/visible absorbance. It performs endpoint, kinetic, spectral-scanning and ratiometric measurements in microplates ranging from 6 to 384 wells. Its flexible configuration makes it suitable for cell-based assays, enzyme kinetics, nucleic acid and protein quantification, and other research applications. The FLUOstar Omega is intended for research use only.
