Serstech 100 Indicator
The Serstech 100 Indicator is a robust, lightweight and truly handheld Raman spectrometer that can identify more than 14000 substances. By providing a multitude of library options, the instrument is customizable and suitable for several different applications while remaining cost effective. Its military-grade robustness makes it a great tool for operators in the field and is used by narcotics police, bomb squads, border control agents and fire fighters around the globe. Since the instrument can identify chemicals inside many containers without opening them, the health and safety of the operators is not compromised.
Each instrument includes free upgrades of software and libraries. It is shipped together with apowerful companion software, Serstech ChemDash, which allows for efficient library management, user rights handling and reporting. Using ChemDash, custom libraries can easily be created and shared between instruments.
The instrument is easy to use and requires minimal training. It requires no consumables and does not need recurring maintenance, i.e. the total cost of ownership is kept low. The libraries are quality controlled by Serstech and each substance contains valuable information such as CAS numbers, GHS information and classification. Libraries include narcotics, explosives, TICs, chemical warfare agents and pharmaceuticals
Serstech Arx
Serstech Arx gives a preview of the future of handheld Raman and includes several industry-first and patented solutions, such as autofocus, one-touch scan, next-generation analytics engine and customizable workflows. Wi-Fi connection to ChemDash Pro allows for seamless transfer of data. The Arx can identify more than 14000 substances and provides a multitude of library options, making it suitable for several different applications while remaining cost-effective. Its military-grade robustness makes it a great tool for operators in the field and is used by narcotics police, bomb squads, border control agents and fire fighters around the globe. Since the instrument can identify chemicals inside many containers without opening them, the health and safety of the operators is not compromised.
Serstech Arx provides an industry-best user interface, which has been designed and developed in cooperation with police and first responder organizations, to better support the need of operators to be efficient and to reduce user error. The one-touch scan introduces the ability to by-pass all advanced settings and get a precise measurement in seconds.
The latest generation of matching algorithms and analysis engine provides more accurate results for both pure samples and mixtures. The patented autofocus automatically finds the optimal measuring point and effortlessly reduces fluorescence and noise caused by the container material, such as plastic or glass.
Serstech Arx is even smaller and lighter than the Serstech 100 Indicator and has the same robustness specification – MIL-STD-810G (vibration and functional shock) and IP67. The smooth surface is easy to decontaminate and clean and the robust display has been selected for its excellent clarity and contrast also in direct sunlight.
Serstech Arx+
Serstech Arx+ and its feature set have been developed in close cooperation with pharmaceutical production companies. The instrument is intended to be used together with Serstech ChemDash Pro+ and both are compliant with the title 21 CFR part 11 regulations.
Serstech Arx+ features a barcode reader, which simplifies the quality assurance process of pharmaceutical producers. Each company has slightly different processes and the administrator can customize the workflow in the instrument to perfectly fit their internal process. The workflow optimization increases efficiency, minimizes manual errors and makes sure that the overall QA process is fully CFR compliant. Connection to the companion software Serstech ChemDash Pro+ can be done either wirelessly or using a USB cable.
Serstech Arx+ is mostly the same instrument as Serstech Arx and has all the great features of Arx, including the patented autofocus, the efficient new user interface and the next-generation analysis and matching algorithms. Both instruments are military grade robust (MIL-STD-810G) and IP67 waterproof, which makes them easy and safe keep clean.
The administrator can quickly and easily build spectral libraries, based on the exact ingredients and products that are relevant to them. The custom libraries can then be uploaded to ChemDash and be shared with all other or selected instruments in the organization.
